Our commitment

Shamloo Elite Spine & Pain Institute wants every patient and visitor to be able to find information and reach us easily, including people who use assistive technology.

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more usable for people with disabilities.

What we have done

Steps taken on this website so far include:

— Keyboard access to menus, links, and the contact form

— Visible focus indicators, so keyboard users can see where they are on the page

— Touch targets sized for easier tapping on phones and tablets

— Layouts that adapt to small screens and to browser zoom

— Labelled form fields with clear, specific error messages

— Reduced animation for visitors whose device asks for less motion

Known limitations

This website has not yet had a formal audit with screen readers or other assistive technologies, so we do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA.

Some content comes from third parties or from existing documents and may not be fully accessible, including:

— Downloadable PDF information sheets and forms

— Embedded maps on location pages

— The spam-protection check on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile)
